Did anybody else notice that the memory system for the linked mirror/driver seat system now includes the REAR VIEW mirror ?
In the 'old' touring, you got both outside mirrors and the driver seat linked to one of two memory position. In the new 2003, the web site (acura.com) states:
"(...) and a remote-linked, two-position memory feature for the driver's seat that also recalls door-mirror and rear-view mirror presets. "
So how does that work ? Do you have a third position on the adjustment system to setup the rear view mirror as well ?
Or did I understand things wong again ? |

Seems from the description, you set the rear view mirror as you like it, the outside mirrors too,and the seat, and then "memorize" it. The two memorized positions will adjust the rear view as well as what it did on the 2002 touring. I wish i had it included. oh well, better luck...next year? |

Sure looks like that... But does that mean that the rear view mirror is motorized now ?
I don't think that there are any pictures of either the rear view mirror or the buttons on the driver door to set the side mirrors.
This is a minor detail but I'm just curious to see it... |

Seems like it would have to be motorized to be linked to the memory system, doesn't it?
Maybe just something else to go wrong. |

well, not gonna call that sour grapes....but i wish i had that in my 2002 touring! worse that happens is it fails and you have to either get if fixed, hopefully under warranty, or you adjust it manually. |

I agree: I'm 6'1 and my wife is 5'4 so the memory seat and mirror are a pretty nice gadget ! Having the rear view mirror change as well would have been sweet:(
Oh well... It's a lease: by the time it's time to revew, the 2005 MDX will have seat/all mirrors/pedals and steering wheel motorized adjustment with memory !:D |

I've got a similiar problem, my wife's 4'10" and I'm 6'3", we're going to really love that feature. Thanks for the heads-up, I missed that one. |
