Anyone in NJ interested taking my 03 order for Havasau Blue Touring. I am going to cancel my order tomorrow. I am not sure they will refund my deposit. If I can find someone willing to take my order for 10/16 Build Date. Maybe I can get out of it quickly.

Though I'm not interested, I thought I'd pass on some info I was told by one of the dealers I spoke with yesterday when getting the OTD prices for the MDX I'll order next week.
One NJ dealer told me that they legally can't keep your deposit. They can hold it until the vehicle you ordered but didn't take delivery on is sold. I think it has something to do with not being able to keep money when no services were rendered.
BTW - I hope nobody orders from Acura of Turnersville, NJ. I called 7 local dealers and none are discounting (obviously) and none were forcing options - except Turnersville. The guy told me it mateer-of-factly and then hung up on me when I re-clarified what he was telling me. Best price I got was Sussman but I don't care for the sales guy. There was only an $80 difference between the highest and lowest while is doc prep fee I guess.

They will refund your deposit when the car you ordered has been sold to someone else. Once the car comes into their lot, they add accessories and sell it at a higher price to any potential buyers. Since there is a high demand, you'll definitely get your $$ back. |

After stopping the dealership and I finally have them to refund my deposit. Hope I will see that in my statement pretty soon.

| I was also told last Friday when I ordered my X that until they see the tail lights of the X leaving the lot you can get your deposit back. |
