actually those color Acura or Honda emblems are really popular with the sports car group.
The emblem actually was started in Japan on Hondas. I myself actually was looking for the LARGE gel filled colored one myself. Color black.
The ones that 2002MDX showed here is actually for the Acura Integras' front emblem. |

| Nobody makes second generation Acura emblems. All the aftermarket emblems you see for sale on Ebay, etc. are first generation replacements. In other words, the emblems are too small for the MDX. |

So you are saying they will not fit / replace the emblem on the tailgate when you remove it. Even if the new emblem , I was thinking about the red one, was aliitle bigger or a yiny bit smaller it would fit and no one could tell it was smaller or larger. Has anyone put them on their MDX to replace the originals? Also can the Acura grill emblem be removed so you could put one of these emblems there as well?

Yes the emblem shown here in this thread is too small to fit on the rear of the MDX. The MDX rear emblem has two prongs that fit in two holes on the surface of the MDX tailgate.
You could use the blue emblems shown here but you would have to modify it by shaving off the prongs that is on the small Acura emblem and then gluing it on the surface of the tailgate....But...I dont know if this is SUCH a good idea if you decide to remove it later.. |
