have a 2001 touring navi with navi conversion using AVC-RGB 1
had the conversion for almost a year w/o problem

2 days ago, i noticed that the range on my computer is zero. the rest of the trip computer(instant MPG, ET, miles) are OK. I still have more than half tank of gas.
i already manually reset the trip computer witout any help.

anybody had this problem before?

I'm gonna try to refuel tomorrow and see what happens. Otherwise I'm gona call Acura.

Thanks
MGTD
Just for the heck of it do you have the off road tracking turned off? Who knows it may affect this as well. I'd give it a try before I bugged Acura with a modded Navi.

i did refill te tank today. looked at the range and it said 190miles.
refueling partially fixed the problem.
the problem now is the computer thinks the range is zero at the last fuel level when i refueled which was about 1/4 left in the tank.

so i'm expecting to see a zero range by the time the fuel level reaches to 1/4 level left on the tank.

i'm planning on hard resetting the computer by disconnecting the battery for about ten minutes.

i'm also searching the topic on how to put the computer screen on a diagnostic mode, maybe i can find a section to reset the fuel range.

I've searched for that information to no avail, although I could swear someone posted it. If you find it, would you mind re-posting it? TIA

I currently have the exact same problem with my 2002 touring w/o navi. Told the dealer during my last service and the tech apparently said to the manager that the float in the tank sometimes gets stuck. I told them I would live with that lame excuse until my next service, when they could fix it.

This happened to me when I filled the tank with the ignition switch on I (accessories) to let the radio on inside. It didn't pick up that I had filled up and it ran to zero with half tank left.

It took 2 refills after that for the computer to get its grip of the situation. It has worked fine.

If you do want to hard reset, search for getting into diagnositic mode, and you can reset everything from there.
