Even though it is very small...maybe the size of my thumb nail....I'm am very sad:(

It is in the passenger's front door, right on the line.
Looks like it could have been somebody opening there door into my beautiful MDX. Ohhhhh MAN !!!

I am looking into http://www.dentwizard.com
A friend of mine said they do Paintless dent removal.
Not too expensive...maybe $80-DONE.

I'll keep you all informed.

My MDX has been violated!
:(
Sorry to hear that -- it's always a gloomy day when the perfect finish on a new car is violated by someone else's door.

Not that you probably want to capture this moment for all eternity, but how 'bout taking a pic -- it might help folks decide where to put their prostripe moldings.

Bummer dude! Hope "paintless" works cuz' matching silver is a *****. Let us know if Dent Wizard works and whether or not they have to drill to get access to the back side of the ding.
MR. MODERATOR: I took my bosses' brand new 911 to one of those places (called Dent Busters here). They took it to the back and inside of thirty minutes rolled it out in perfect condition. It too was silver and in full sun you could not see where the ding was!

It'll be fine . . .

Mr. Moderator, I'm so sorry to hear about your first ding. I too had my first ding two nights ago. I was waiting for my daughter(soccer practice night), just sitting in my car at the parking lot, listening and enjoying the music from my bose system when I suddenly heard it... a thug on the back passenger side... from a Yukon's door. The lady who opened the door was really apologetic but, I was so hurt and disgusted I can not even say a word. All I could do was gave her "razor sharp look" .....that could have cut her into pieces.... well, she's still alive and I was left with a scratch. It's hardly noticeable but I know it's there. Oh well, without the ding protectors, its bound to happen sooner or later. I really wish Acura had done something about these before they even let loose of these $40k cars out and off their plant....
I just talked to someone at http://www.dentwizard.com and they were very nice on the phone.

I have an appointment set up in Leonia, NJ on Saturday March 3rd which is like 10 minutes from my house - Exit 159 on the Garden State Parkway(I live off of exit 151).

They said it is only $125 - Done !
They also said you will not EVER know that the dent was there.

They said they will do it while I wait and should be NO longer than 45 minutes but probably quicker.

I feel relieved.
The Moderator's heart is not beating fast anymore.
:)

P.S. You know I'm going to punch their address into the Navigation and let it take me right to the door!!!
:):D:)
Sorry to hear about the ding A4L....DO let us know how the repair job works out. At least you did not do it yourself like I ALMOST did. Got out of my MDX last night after work and had a MDX coffee tumbler in my hand and DROPPED it against the side of my MDX...I almost C#$%@!. How careless of me...made me sick. Thought I felt a bump but turned on garage light and could not tell where the tumbler hit the
MDX...hope I don't find it later.

A4L..I can't thank you enough for this site....great exchange of information and ideas...really cool, as I read this thing every day.

I'll give you ALL a full report and inspection of my MDX after dentwizard "goes to town" on it.
