Does anyone have insight on service contracts? I know people who have bought them from dealers and have been very satisfied. I also know enough about dealer mark-ups on such options.
Has anyone used one of the internet third party warranty companies? I noticed that their prices are better than the dealer's and the coverage is comprehensive; however, it seems to me that the contracts are so very ambiguously worded that a warranty company could easily refuse to pay legitimate claims or could make recovery a real pain in the neck. There is a great deal of discussion on this in Edmunds, but I wonder if the comments are from truely independent posters.
