| Just a note to everyone considering XM radio. I had the window mount antenna from Terk installed by best buy when XM first came out. As the year wore on, I kept losing the signal in places I had never lost it before. The person I talked to at XM radio said that if this antenna is installed on tinted windows it losses some of it's ability to pick-up some signals. I switched to the Terk roof mount and the problem has been solved. So anyone thinking of going with the glass mount, try the roof mount(mounted next to the antenna for the Navi system) You'll be a lot beter off.:D |

It's okay, most everyone makes that mistake. Believe or not, the Navi antenna is under the top of the dash, above the center console.
Signal pass through plastic just fine!
What looks like 'more than it really is' is the radio antenna on the roof. |

I have the Terk roof mount.
Also, instead of putting the fm modulator under a seat, my husband put it behind the radio so I don't have hidden wires the length of the vehicle, and it leaves room for other stuff under the seat. |
