My MDX fuel gauge seems to be significantly miscalibrated (it shows too much fuel). First, the gauge does not move from the full marker until I drive over 100 miles (over 5 gallons). Second, the gauge always shows too much fuel. I recently filled my tank when the gauge showed close to an 1/8 tank and the warning light had not gone off. When I filled it, I realized that I only had 1/2 gallon left! I definitely would have ran out of gas if I waited for the low fuel light to go off.
Has anyone else had this problem? |

I checked my fuel gauge and went 36 miles before the red needle hit the Full mark on the gauge. I also filled up with the needle 2 marks above EMPTY and figured I still had 4 gallons of fuel left. My gauge seems to be OK.
How many miles did your trip computer say you had with only 1/2 gallon remaining? |

my trip computer said that I had over 60 miles to go before empty when in reality I only had a 1/2 gallon of fuel |
