| I'm curious what folks are being quoated for 03 MDX's in the NY Metro area. Seems like MSRP elsewhere, but no one from this area has commented that I've seen. I've been quoted anywhere from MSRP to $1500 over depending on when and which dealer. Any problems with forced options? |

I called Acura of Brooklyn over the weekend inquiring about 03 availability (on behalf of my friend who is shopping for a new car, and to satisfy my own curiosity)
I had a quite positive experience with them exactly 2 years ago, and have given advice to a few people on this board, who, mostly, were turned away by AoB changed "tactics"
Anyway, I did not talk to the sales mgr there, as I suggest everyone should do!!!, but to whomever answered the phone. He said that no 03 was available to EVEN LOOK AT! All are sold and off limits. He also proceded to try to convince me that there were no major changes between 02 and 03 to the point that I cannot just look at 02 while ordering 03.
FOOL!
He did say that they take orders for December production.
I am sure that with some luck, and by talking to a sales mgr named Danny (hopefully he is still there) one can get MSRP.
P.S. Do not go to Paragon. Cheating greedy crooks!
Also, look in dealer ratings.
Good luck |

| I have been shopping for a 03 MDX here in Central Jersey. Most of the dealers are at MSRP some dealers have a few on the ground which they are also selling at MSRP on a first come basis. Just read a thread on this borad that someone is getting a $1000 of MSRP in Los Angeles area. I hope that trend comes to the east coast soon. With all the competition coming up as GX470, XC90 and new Isuzu, 7 seater SUV's are becoimg more popular. Also the upscale auto market has slowed down considerably, I have a friend who works for Infinity so this is from the horses mouth. |

| Would like to know if anyone is getting below MSRP in the NYC metro area. Please let us know it will be helpful for us who live in the tristate area and in the market for 03 MDX. |

| Interesting. On Carsdirect.com, they offer MSRP if you live in Florida, but $3000 over MSRP for Long Island. -John |

Try Heart Acura up in Wappingers Falls. They were more than fair with me. Ask for Cheryl Sauer. . . tell her Herb and Sonny sent you.
Also, they don't pull any of that required accessories bull. |

| Spoke to Sheryl, a straight shooter. She quoted MSRP with no force options. I am looking for a 189 in Sage Brush and trying to see where can I get it sooner. The earliest I have heard that color coming out is End Nov to early Dec. Any body has an update please keep it posted. |

Thanks!
I just spoke to Chris, this is not an Acura Dealership. He said that he is a licensed New Car Dealer and name of his company is Car by tel. Has anyone done any business with him? May be we can do a group buy discount of more than 500 for the forum members at the NYC area atleast. I told him that I got his name and no. from this forum at which he was pleasantly surprised gave him my requirement and color preference and he said will get back to me with availablity dates etc. I find it so hard to get a straight answer from most of the sales people who are at Acura, don't know how it would be dealing with someone who is not even working for Acura dealership. |

| Are people paying MSRP in Florida? I was wondering if the pricing has softened. |

| I have 2 friends that have done business with him. One purchased an Acura TL at 2000 below MSRP when noone was willing to go below MSRP. And the other purchased a Miata, Integra, and 300E from him. They have had good experiences with him, thus they referred me to him. That is the only history I have. |
