My build Date for a Midnight Blue is NOV 27 The dealer claimes I should have a it the second week of DEC. Did anyone out there get one if so can you provide pictures. I wanted to switch to White but the dealer claims it would push me back to Jan. Is that true?
I am from NYC, bought mine from Brooklyn Acura. |

It's probably who else at that dealership WANTS a unit ...
Somewhere there is a thread that has a posting from JamieStockman that relates HOW Acura's "allocation" system works. Basically, once the factory can get up to speed on a color, the dealer could order their entire monthly allocation in ANY color or combination of available colors...
There have been rumors of delays with the Quartz interior, but nothing specific about Taffeta White exterior. |

| I was at Springfield Acura today and they have 1 03 in MBP dont know if that is the touring model, but I was looking at the colors to decide. If you call them ask for Lou and tell him Adam Samy reffered you for what it's worth. It's a nice color, check it out. |

MBP (dense overcast weather)
If your display has a 0-100 brightness setting, set it to +/-30 for better color-matching.
Unlike the color selection feature on the Acura web site, it does not have a purpleish hue to it. It is deep deep blue. |

| I am most definitely staying with MBP. I have to order side steps from Hondaacuraworld. Plan to put them on myself. It looks as if it is almost black. What did you think of it? |

Thanks for the pics! The more I see of the MBP, the more I'm convinced that it's the color for me!:4:
I'm getting impatient now. I called my dealer today (had to leave a message) just to make sure he knew to call me as soon as a MBP came in so I can see it first hand.
Like many of the other X colors, this one appears to have significantly different looks depending on conditions. :29:

| I corresponded with Jaimie via e-mail yesterday. He had a touring MBP available as of noon. Really considered changing my color choice and flying down to pick it up. Really hard decision, but for various reasons decided to wait it out. Someone is going to be very happy. It is truly gorgeous.:2: |

Got to say I really like the MBP. The color looks great under different light conditions. But IMHO I'm still partial to the black interior. Still not sure how the quartz will look though. Is the quartz in production yet? I haven't seen any of those yet. I'd love to see more interior pics (of any color). Post em if you've got em. Thanks in advance.
Can't wait. My Black/black touring/nav is due to be built 11/11 - 11/14 w/ delivery by 11/29. A nice b-day present for me... |

My local dealer (scoundrels) have a MBP Touring on their lot now. I saw it at night under the bright dealer lights and it looks a great deal like the pics posted here. It was interesting in that there was another 2003 in black two cars away and at a distance I couldn't tell them apart. It really does go from blue to black depending on the lighting. The ridiculous "market adjustment" on that car, the over priced accessories and salesman belong in another thread.
To sum up: The car looked great! |
