| I am putting in a panasonic in dash dvd player and a 10.4" Audiovox Screen. I will also be putting in a pair of Infinity Kappa Perfect Component Sets and a coaxial pair of Infinity Kappas for the rear. I have an Xtant amplifier to power them. I have a playstation 2 and a power inverter that will be installed as well. I am having a good buddy that is M.E.C.P certified installer put it all in. I will be posting pictures in a few days. He is making a mold of the dash to make the dash kit. I have seen a lot of the dash's people have made on here and I didn't really care for them so hopefully mine will look like the original. Anyways, I'm excited to see how it turns out!!!! |

| Are you putting in a 10.4 inch in the dash? How much are you paying for the Audiovox. Have you considered the 9 inch widescreen from Icon-TV? There was a group buy on it a while back, I think it was $725. |

| I have thought about many screens, the one in the dash is 6.8 and overhead i am doing the 10.4. I chose to do this rather than headrests due to cost. Audiovox really has good quality screens and they were some of the only ones that i could see locally. I paid 830.00 for the 10.4. |

| Any pix yet of a 10.4" drop down dvd install? I've seen many 7" and would like to compare. I'm ready to do the whole shebang but am torn between the 2 screen sizes. Any comments or remorse about screen size? |

| I will take pictures tomorrow. I have had so much going on. It's honestly like going from a 27 inch tv to a big screen. It especially makes a big difference for the people in the 3rd row. I would personally say it is worth the difference in cost even though i am usually driving! :) |

I am also interested in seeing a picture of your dash kit...
I am ready totackle the stereo upgrade over Xmas, and I think the dash template will be the toughest part, getting it to look "right"...Would your installer be willing to make a duplicate..if so how much? I am going with 2 single din components, one a Alpine head unit with slide out screen, and two, a in dash Alpine DVD player...I wure wish there was a commercially produced retrofit for this purpose like on so many other vehicles...would greatly simplify things. Anxious to see the pictures. |
