Had a chance to snap a few pics of our new 2003 Redrock X and thought I would share them here. The link is...

It may take a minute to load on a dial-up connection.

Absolutely beautiful! I saw my first RR in person over the weekend (there are very few MDXs where I live, so you notice it when you see one). It was pulling out of a parking lot as I was pulling in. It was funny to see the man driving point at me.... I waved in acknowledgement. :7:

I also agree that RR look fantastic on the MDX. It looks better on the X than the same color on the Pilot IMHO. On the other hand to me SS looks better on the Pilot than on the X. I do like SS and TW better with contrasting accessories (fender flares, hood deflector, rear deflector, running boards or side steps) while the darker colors look good all by themselves.

Nice. . . my best friend and I bought our MDX's at the same time. . . I went Mesa while he went RR. . . he put the gold accents which were a nice contrast.

But please, remove the dealership advertising. . . they've made enough money off of you already.

Enjoy!

I've done that on all o f my cars. The first thing I did when I came home with my wife's CR-V was to get out the hair dryer and an extension cord and take off the dealer label (vinyl). Came off in around 30 secs. Unless they want to pay me $100/mo in advertising - it comes off.

Nice Photos.

Normally, I remove the license plate advertisement when I put the permanent license tag on. Otherwise I ask the dealer to remove it.

...are really better looking than the Touring ones.

I hadn't thought about it until now, but there were absolutely no dealership markings on my MDX. Either they didn't have time or maybe all dealers don't do that anymore? :8:

Shiny and beautiful! Thanks for pointing out the subtle changes (scuff plate and rear chrome moulding) on the '03.

Beautiful! I saw the '03 X at the dealership the other day and was amazed at how subtle the changes are from my '02 RR -- great looking X!

All you need now are side steps!

I plan on replacing the dealer LP frame when I get permanent plates...untill then I guess the dealer gets a freebie. Thanks for the tip on the gold accents...I may try them on via photoshop before buying.

Our neighbors across the street have already told us (jokingly) that they hate us for buying the car they wanted!
