| I read in the 2003 brochure for touring model that the 6 cd changer is under the driver seat. The picture shows a cd changer in the dash. Any of you with 2003 w/touring please let me know the details mine won't be here til mid Dec (with a little luck) |

i believe someone posted a series of photos of his/her new '03 touring, and the radio/CD part looks exactly the same as my '02 (no navi)... if that's the case, i can tell you for sure that the CD changer is in-dash...
i would guess the one underneath the seat is for the DVD/navi system...
just my 2 cents... |

| Guru - No, just basic touring. Didn't think to look at the RES version yesterday when I was at the dealer. BTW they had about 11 on their lot from what I could see. |

| I am two days into owning an 03 Touring model with RES, no nav. CD Changer is under the driver's seat. Could not figure this out until I found this helpful site, forum and thread. Thanks everybody! Neither the dealer salesman nor even the owner's manual has not got this right (the former thinking it was in dash, the latter saying it was an optional accessory). Glad to finally find it. |

We just ordered a 2003 MDX Touring WITH NAVI ........ the Dealer told us the 6-CD Changer is IN DASH for this model, but if NAVI and DVD entertainment is ordered the changer is UNDER seat. I currently own a 2000 3.2TL and the TRUNK CD-Changer is a real pain-in-the-a**, especially during rainy days. I am afraid that UNDER seat would be an open invitation for sand, dirt, etc. to be kicked up from feet and floor mats. Once again........ WHERE is 6-CD Changer in 2003 MDX Touring W/ Navi (NO DVD) ??

| Wen R.: Although it is speculation on my part, I bet your dealer is right. the rear entertainment piece appears to be brand new and requires a completely different front unit, such that the six disk in-dash changer cannot work. I bet the nav. system (which has been around for a year or two) doesn't conflict. As for the under-seat changer, it has a sliding door protecting the opening for the magazine, so maybe dirt won't be a problem (I hope). |

My friend picked up 2003 MDX Black/Black Touring & Nav.
it has 6 in-dash cd changer. guess DVD nav is under the seat.
Also, the navigation and real camera work very well. i misjudged the functionality and im regretting. |

2003 Nav WITHOUT res - Changer in dash
2003 Nav WITH RES - Changer under the Drivers Seat
My changer looks EXACTLY like the changer in my 1994 Honda Accord EX sedan. CD magazine is exactly the same as well.
