I have not seen a burlwood shift knob in person. Can any one tell me if it matches the revised plastic wood in the '03's?

Can't say that I looked at it too closely, but when I drove an '03 at the dealership, it had all the wood accessories (including shift knob), and it seemed to mix in quite well. Enough so that it's on the list of things I want to add to mine when I get it (along with the other wood trim options). :4:

I have the wood shift knob and I have to say that it looks like a match to me. Can't see a difference between trim and knob. Definitely finishes it off alot nicer compared to standard knob.:4:

Is the diameter of the head any larger than the stock knob, which seems a little small?

Haven't seen one yet. But, I am wondering if anyone knows of a REAL WOOD dash kit that will fit over the stock plastic pieces including the door/window swithes. Thanks

Do a search on wood trim kits, etc. Lots of threads on the topic. Joshua Tree is the name of one popular comany. |

A number of prior threads have dealt with the issue of the burlwood shift knob not fitting well on the 2001 and 2002 models (e.g., threads showing following installation). Does anyone know if this condition has been corrected for the 2003 model?
