STILL WAITING FOR MY GG/TOUR/NAV WHICH WILL TAKE SEVERAL LONG TRIPS A YEAR. HAVE HEARD SOME COMPLAINTS ABOUT SEATS NOT BEING COMFORTABLE OVER EXTENDED PERIODS. HAS ANYONE FOUND THE SEATS COMFORTABLE ON LONG TRIPS WITHOUT THE USE
OF SEAT COVERS? ANY INPUT WOULD BE APPRECIATED.(HOPEFULLY POSITIVE.) |

Individual reactions to the comfort, or lack of it, of the driver's seat seem to vary widely. Some drivers are intolerant of a "lump" in the lumbar region. (I can't feel it, and my wife likes it). Others complain about leg room.
I am 6' 3", 200 pounds, 32" inseam. I found the seats in our GG touring/nav to be very comfortable on the 800 mile drive from Phoenix to San Francisco, after taking delivery of the MDX in Phoenix.
I'd rate the seats as better (for me) than the 98 Subaru Legacy Outback Limited and the 95 Saab 900 SE Turbo that we have been driving. Probably not quite as comfortable as the Range Rover we had for one year. Probably equivalent to our old Toyota Previa LE. |
