I just order some custom pedals for my Toyota Supra. I asked the company if they would be interested in producing some custom MDX pedals and here is the response.
Hey Ron, if you can drum up 6 or more interested people for an MDX pedal
design we can do it and run the GP. However, I'll need at least 10 people to
offer a decent price. It's funny you ask this because I was just cruising
www.acuramdx.org the and some of those folks have awesome trucks! I think
our style of pedals would look great on them.

| Not sure I understand your question. I think we could have this for all pedals? Take a look at the Ford Lightning (auto) and the Nissan 300 Z (auto). I would want the pedals for the gas, brake, Ebrake and dead pedal. I am assuming we would be able to have "MDX" put on the brake pedal like those examples, or something else? |

hope it's some new cool design..
cause there are lots imported once..
make sure the deadpadle is high enough.. and big enough..
I am sure many of us well want a set..
but not if it's over 70..
I got a set that lights up for 35 via ebay
and a dead padel for 18 from japan..
but wuould still love to swtich if it's a better design

Take a look at the website. The pedals will resemble the ones listed for other cars. I think these pedals will look better than any you could get elsewhere. These will not be ricey looking. |

Did you really read my post?
I want better designed pedals not just better looking.
I am talking about the size of it and the thickness of it not just how the face of it look.
I've seen so many good one's.. but it just don't feel like it fits with MDX.. design wise..
and it's just small..

Not sure if this pic comes out.
Anyways, design wise this is what the website says.
"Anti-slip" raised edges on all pedals designed to provide a much greater grip than factory or other aftermarket pedals.
Brake pedal is attached via countersunk machine screws.
CNC machined from aircraft quality aluminum.
Contoured to match OEM pedal curvature for a secure fit.
Size? Too small, Why do you think that? I do not think they would be too small, especially compared to the stock pedals.
You are entitled to your own opinion as far as feeling these would not look good with the X. My opinion would be these would look great with a custom MDX logo (no light up or glow in the dark logos, that would look too dorky.) ;)
Cost? Not sure yet.

I happen to have the "dorky" ones you said
and I love the blue lights form it.
I konw the factroy pedals are too small
but the dead pedals I found are small too..(compare to my feet size 11 with shoes on they are too small)
My pedals are also anti slip with same thing... just don't have the logo on it..and it's more brushed metal look then the bright ones..

Hi guys,
Hopefully I can answer any questions you have. John from AutoVation will work with a forum member here to make the prototype set. We will then ship them out for installation and test fitting. If they fit perfect, great. If not, we will modify the design until it is an exact fit. Here is an example of pedals that were made for the Acura RSX:
Here is a close up to get an idea of the kind of detail that is put into each design. We use a pretty small end mill to do the finishing passes...
We also have pedal sets for all models we have links to on our website. If it says "coming soon", it just means we haven't taken the pictures yet.

Come on guys, you know you want these. Like I said early these will make your car go much faster and drive much smoother ;). This may be the best performance bang for the buck. These pedals add at least 25hp to your MDX while improving gas mileage by 10%.
Hurry before it is too late. I really want these things. |

Yo,
I did the grunt work on tracing my stock pedals so Autovation can work their magic. These things are going to be sweet. I just installed some on my Supra and guess what they are sweet. The install was pretty straight forward and easy.
