Does anyone have the MDX all-season floormats? Are they any good for snowy weather? I saw picture of it and it didn't seem to have deep groves to hold the snow and water and keep them from getting to the carpet. But I guess one good thing about getting the manufacturer ones is that they are perfect fits for the MDX?? Thanks for any feedback I can get.

I have the all season mats. You are right they are not very deep although fairly sturdy and I think they will hold some snow and water. I had the same concern but I bought them because they are a perfect fit. I saw a pair of really nice deep sturdy ones in pepboys for about $30. But then again, the fit.

I looked at the Acura winter mats for my MDX and noticed that they do not cover the foot rest (driver
left)and all of the water and slush would run down and under the acura mat. I did buy a set of mats from Mac Neil, they were the "W4".s, (www.mats.com)and they almost look and fit like custom, they cover the entire foot rest area, and were cheaper then Acura...The front set was 49.95, and I think that it was 89.98 for front and back.
Here are two links to pics of the mats:

I paid $91 from hondaacuraworld for Acura mats (front and back), so it is not that much difference in price. My only complaint, as you said, is that it does not cover the dead pedal area of the driver side.

Thanks for sharing the floor mats pictures. Based on your photos and experience, I am not going to purchase Acura's all season mats and buy those instead.
Questions for you about the additional "wood" trim :
1) Is it somewhat manageable to install ? With instructions, could a handy person do it ?
2) Is the trim from the Acura MDX trim package of 18 or so pieces that one can purchase from exoticwooddash.com or wooddash.com ?
3) Most important, do the pieces stick out ? Of course they are not flush, but do they look like they are an integral part of the car or like a piece stuck on once installed ?
Thanks for your input.

The trim is from exoticwooddash.com, 18 piece kit. I have not decided if I am going to install the pieces around the radio/cd/screen or around the shifter, I still living without them on, however by holding them up they do fit very well (decisions...decisions). The installation of the trim pieces can be done with almost no skills, technical or otherwise, it is very simple and easy. The only real tool that you need for the install is a hair dryer (helps in the bending). The pieces do not look like they were just stuck on, they look like that they belong there. I hope this helps

Thanks to rlm32 and larryk for the responses. Especially the photos. This really helps me and others on deciding whether to get the Acura mats.

I've heard others say on other forums, that you can get good heavy duty mats that trap a lot at COSTCO for like $20 or $30 (front & back - 4)!! That's awesome !! I've bought them before from COSTCO for other cars of mine & they are great !!!
You can also get a cargo tray / liner at COSTCO too !!
Most cheap ! Heavy duty !
Hope you'll have a COSTCO near by !
