Has anyone looked into installing headrest monitors in the 2003 version headrests? They appear to be angled more forward, so I'm concerned that the viewing angle may not be as good as for the 01-02 version. Or worse, may be terrible.
This is my first post! I've been lurking for ~ 6 months trying to decide between the MDX and her Honda cousin. I had a deposit down on both, but today after driving MY pilot that had finally arrived, I just said NO. While driving it, I had the feeling that if I went with the pilot, I'd always feel like I married my true love's porkier sister. :headshake
I want to compliment all of the informative posts on this forum :6:
VERY helpful, especially with such an expensive decision.

We did an '03 with monitors in the headrests. No problem, came out great.
We also have a company that offers 7" Wide-Screens in Factory Reproduction head rests. WAY  |

| Do you happen to have any pictures or happen to remember the total cost of the install + equipment? |

Cost Depends on the rest of the features of the System:
(2) 7" Monitors in Repro Headrests
DVD Player
VCP Player
TV Tuner
Theater Sound
(2) Wireless Headsets
$2995 + Tax including installation
Additionally, we use a supplier who warranties the system for 4yrs/50k miles. The warranty can only be serviced by our company here locally. If you take it out of state, other Acura dealers will not honor the warranty. |
