Reminds me of the class-action lawsuit solicitation I received recently regarding some dog tech stock I own. Evidently, 'our' lawyer friends and 'their' lawyer friends have reached a 'settlement' in which the dog company admits no wrong doing (of course) but will still pay out about $$M to the claimants. The fact that I am a claimant was news to me...
The fun part comes in the wording of the settlment whereby 'our' lawyers get 30% off the top for their 'hard work', plus expenses also for their 'hard work,' plus any all fees associated with their 'hard work.'
Point is the people who really get rich off most of these class-action suits are the lawyers, not the dolt plaintiffs.
And on it goes...
