was browsing through edmunds, looked at new Z4 - looks are open for debate, but the rims -
compare to a '03 touring rim:

| OK, the Z4 totally copyed the MDX design. Why do I know???? Because the MDX is the first to get that wheel and BMW created the Z4 after that. And I'm on the MDX side. |

| Actually if you look reall carefully they are actually different. The only thing that is similar is spoke count. Otherwise, BMW wheel spoke end to the edge of rim is angulay with circular between wheels as opposed to MDX where the area separating between the pair of spokes are tear drop and oblique looking with indentation of spokes. BMW is flat. |

The thing is.. it doesnt' matter who copy who..
It looks good on SUVs.. but looks ugly on that Z4..

I agree but check out the heat deflection shield under the hood on the Z-4.I can't believe they let that thing fly!!

| well, my first impression of my '02 mdx/touring wheels was that they look so similar to those on the old jeep grand cherokee... you can judge this yourself... |

:) You should see what the front looks like... poor Z3's image wacked hard from above :25: dunno, looks like Z4 is loosing it's face (literally :31: )
