| I am trying to place my first order with Tim for some BSM and a moonroof visor. I registered, but when I try to place an item in my shopping basket, it says it's empty. Has anyone had a problem using this feature? I then tried "buy 1 now", and it shows 2 BSM and 0 visor. Thanks for any help. BTW, I tried to call, but no answer, and I did email them. Just looking for some feedback. I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!! |

You may want to doublecheck your browser settings regarding cookies... See prior thread...http://www.acuramdx.org/forums/show...=&threadid=7613
Also, I think its safe to say that Tim is gone by 2 or 3pm PST, since that translates to 5 or 6pm Eastern time. |

| Yes, I had this problem, too. Couldn't buy a damn thing!! But then I figured out that if I hit "put one in basket" for every item I wanted, EXCEPT THE LAST ITEM YOU ARE GOING TO ORDER, then it worked. I had to click that button (basket one), then it would show me the cart or something, then I'd have to keep hitting the "Back" button and get to the Acc. list again, where I'd repeat the basket process. HOWEVER, on the last item you're going to buy, you hit "But one now", and then it should have everything in your cart. Took a few tries and unmentionable words, but finally figured it out. Good luck! |

| Setting the privacy level 1 notch lower in IE did the trick (WinXP). Again, thanks for all the great advice and ideas. BSM and visor are on the way!:) |

The website does not have encryption for the credit cards. I had my order ready but found this out before I was going to submit the credit card info.
I stopped. Without encrypution, your credit card info can be stole when the pirates monitor you data transfer. :(
It happens way to often.
I did order the parts by calling Tim, Eric. But be sure to verify your order and address. My address, name was wrong on the order but got my name corrected. After three times, my address is still misspelled. :(
I hope the website gets enhanced or redesigned. IMO, it is not user friendly. |

The website does have SSL encryption.....trust me, I paid $1200 for a recent upgrade.
The problem is that some browsers frame the site differently than others, using the merchant software we use combined with a different SSL encryption, make it so that you can only see the lock on some browsers, for example on AOL the lock is there, Netscape it is not. We're working on getting that fixed, but from what I understand, the process is not easy.
For questions and concerns regarding website operation, please email webmaster@clubrsx.com
And Vincliu, I did get your email, but unfortunately with the amount of directions I'm pulled in every day, I can't answer every email as quickly as I'd like to. I always try to respond within 24 hours. I will be clearing all emails this morning. |

I ended up calling in my order. I noticed the same thing with the encryption. It does state on the website that encryption is in place but am just leary if I don't see the little lock on my IE browser. Better safe than sorry. Was going to order from Tim one way or the other because of the prices. Another thing I noticed while searching about the encrytion was the fact that info that is transmitted to Hondacura.com on the internet can be "sold" or "exchanged" to other company's. That was another reason why I chose to call in my order. I get enough spam as it is.

What site claims you in a secure area but doesn't display the lock in the task tray? SSL is installed on the webserver and runs across a different port (443) than standard HTTP traffic (80). The combination of the SSL key being installed on the server and the HTTPS session running through 443 MUST display the lock or you're not encrypted. That is, unless there is a bug with the browser or the SSL key wasn't installed properly. Beware sites claiming to be secure but don't appear so. |

I was told that this comes with the software. Don't worry, I'd never do this.....I'm not technologically sophisticated enough to know how to do that. |

I am going to be working on it over the weekend. The main problem seems to be some computer settings and because we are using frames. I have to redo the site to move it out of frames and onto static pages. That should fix all the issues.
Hey Tim, my back is starting to hurt from you riding me. :D |

Try defining the store's frameindex as the SSL server instance default starting point and you should show as secure. If you are framing the store inside a NON-SECURE site then it MAY appear NON-SECURE. You could always use TARGET="_none" to kick off a new window and you'll show secure. |

Thanks for the response. I know I speak for most on the site that you have made alot of people very satisfied and that you have nothing but good intentions. Well you better at least;) Waiting patiently for December sale. |
