Just picked up my 2003 White MDX, Touring/Navi/RES on 11/27/03, and have now put 100 miles on it. During Thanksgiving, had a chance to show to all extended family members and kids, who all love the car. Kids love the RES. My brother, an engineer, and myself, a formal engineer, are very impressed with the Navigation system.
However, now I've noticed rear clicking noise, especially prominent when going up or down hills, not so noticeable (or disappears) on flat surface, even on freeway speeds. It is a clicking noise that occurs every 1/2 secon or so, especially around 40 to 60 miles per hour, going up or down hills. My rear sway bars are intact. Third row seats flat or up( with head rest on the third row seats) do not make a difference. Am planning on taking it to the dealer for service. Any ideas or suggestion in the meantime? Thank You! |

| Another possibility is the 3rd-row or 2nd-row-center shoulder belts, if they are in their fully-retracted positions; if the metal plate portion of the buckles are loose in their holders, they can rattle or click. |

| I have the metallic rattle noise come from the second row seats of my 2003 as well. The latches are not fully engaged. After slaming the second row seats back, the noise went away for a few miles and then come back. Tustin Acura is working on this problem.:o |

| :) It's fixed! The rattle noice came from the second row seats "head rest" metal posts and the holes. Acura tech just bend the head rest post inward a little and it was fixed. |
