I remember one of his movies, don't recall the name of it, but in the car, the old guy with asthma is yelling for his inhaler inhaler,
but Dice hears nail her, nail her.

Here's what's in the deck this week:

1) Rap/Hip-hop mix (50 Cent, Nas, Snoop-Dogg, Jaheim, Fabolus, Tyrese, Truth Hurts, The Roots, Trina, Big Tymers, Cam'Ron, Usher)
2) Toni Braxton: The Heat
3) Mariah Carey: Rainbow
4) 2 Pac: Greatest Hits disc 2
5) 2 Pac: Greates Hits disc 1
6) Aaliya: One in a Million

The funny thing is that these selections change drastically depending on the mood. For a huge variety I have my 30 GB Ipod which has almost everything. By the way, my wife drives the vehicle most of the time and I get to drive it on the weekends.

mdxxx,

Yes, it's a custom burn. It's such a shame that the changer nor head unit will play mp3s. On really long trips I'll probably just connect my IPOD to the aux. That thing contains most of my music.
DEZRVIT
My wife is the primary driver of the X (somewhere I lost the relationship control, infact I'm not sure I ever had it) she always changes it so I never know what is in there. I just tune to AM and listen to the ball game.
jswift2000
DEZRVIT,

You lost control the day you said "I do" - you really said "I do... lose control to my wife". :2:

Wow,

It amazes me that this thread keeps popping up from time to time.

I started it back in March 2001 when I was bored one day and it keeps living................

cool!

Hey old timer - one of the best threads on the site, IMHO! I try to check in every 3-4 months.

Just from memory, here's what's loaded:

1. Hedningarna - a leftover from St. Urho's day

2. Plastic Bertrand -clearly the best new wave band to come out of Belgium, can anyone disagree?

3. Emmylou Harris - Stumble from Grace - dynamite, produced by Daniel Lanois

4. P.J. Harvey - Is This Desire?

5. Abbey Road

6. David Lindley - Twang Banjo Deluxe III

ghost,
Of all of the new wave bands from Belgium that I know of, Plastic Bertrand is the best!;)
perk
Each CD is a compilation of the best songs I could find in each category or artist.

1) Lenny Kravitz
2) U2
3) Classic Blues (Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, etc.)
4) Techno (Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Lords of Acid, etc.)
5) Industrial Rock (Rage Against the Machine, Limp Bizkit, etc.)
6) Modern Pop (Pearl Jam, Nickelback, Creed, etc.)

But now that I have an iPod and have it connected in my X, I never really listen to the CD Changer. I have about 4000 songs and 54 complete Books on CD now transferred to my iPod. According to iTunes, that's more than 8500 hours of music/books to listen to. That usually gets me from one place to the next.

This is always an interesting thread. I'm more into the hip-hop stuff myself.

1. Jay-Z - The black album (still in there, it's a classic)
2. Kanye West - college dropout
3. Avant - (mix of his stuff)
4. Musiq - soustar
5. Usher - confessions
6. N.E.R.D. - (whatever their new one is called)
toddh
My changer is empty because I have my iPod hooked up now. I won't list all 3,391 songs, but the last time I had CDs in they were:

1. Best of Simple Minds Disk 1
2. Utah Saints - Utah Saints
3. Delerium - Poem
4. Crystal Method - Tweekend
5. Juno Reactor - Bible of Dreams
6. Pink Floyd -Dark Side of the Moon

HARDROCK

2. Zero7 - When It Falls
3. Outkast - Speakerboxx
4. Miles Davis - Seven Steps to Heaven
5. Zero7 - Simple Things
6. Music from the soundtrack - Malxolm X
