I purchased a car cover from Tim a few months back. Using it for the first time because it is snowing here in nyc. The cover is not an Acura factory item but it was the only one Tim had for sale at the time. I purchased it just for the purpose of snow. Since I don't have a garage (just a driveway), I need to clean snow off my car. I hate chipping ice from windows and brushing snow off the paint job. So hopefully this cover will help out. I've never had one for all my previous cars.
Put it on last night, and it fits perfectly. But it look slike a pain in the butt to fold it up again when done. |

| I know it won't help much but I would just use car cover for extended storage. Very important thing to keep in mind is that you should only use the cover on a CLEAN car otherwise you'll scratch it. |

I have a cover for my X also. It is not that difficult to fold, if you fold the sides onto the roof first. Then I roll the cover up from the rear toward the front. By doing it this way, all you have to do when installing is place the cover on top of your X and reverse the procedure. With repitition, you will be doing it in no time flat.
I don't use the cover when the X is dirty, for fear of scratches. It will keep your vehicle clean for a long time between washings. |
