| I guess I will save my judgement till the photos finish loading.(should be sometime tonite:( )Subdivision is new and doesn't have broadband yet:( From what I can tell so far, are they using carpet underlayment for upholstery:rolleyes: Very futuristic though. |

That is quite possibly one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen. The boring, ho-hum old version of the Quest/Villager is so much better! What does the future hold for us, with cars like this coming out?!
I think I'll hold on to my X....;) |

I saw the concept of this van in the recent NY auto show. I thought they'll never make it. But the concept was so cool. The dash was actually all lcds and all mirrors reflect on that LCDs.
It looks..... modern. In my opinion it looks ok.
Depends really on your taste. |

Very interesting concept. I too would miss the 'apparent' comfort of thick seats. Maybe with space-age materials they can replicate the comfort with much thinner materials, but right now it looks like felt over plastic.
Radical, I like it. I am sure it will evolve into something more accepting by most people. |

| I, for one, like it. I have purchased many car magazines for many years now and happy that the concept cars of the future are starting to make their way into the market. My hats off to Nissan for sticking their necks out and trying something "different" in the auto market. One point about the Quest is the amount of glass. I would be interested to know how rigid the body is with all that glass in the roof. Great visibility but am curious. I went to the Atlanta car show in the summer and actually looked back through pictures that I took when I was there and found one of the Quest on display. Looks just like the pictures Paul123 attached.I only took pictures of cars I thought were interesting so.... |

Will be better when they finish the seats.:28: |

:16: Where are the seats upholstery? Aren't those tires great for handling but very poor for ride comfort?
It'll be a hit among these people to goto conventions with.

Trekies they're called?? :p |

Hi All:
___There is a lot to like about this vehicle but I will also ask how comfortable are those seats going to be? They saved a ton of money, weight, and added a significant amount of leg room if those seats are comfortable … I think Nissan should also straighten out the exterior line from front to back. It looks disjointed with the flat horizontal and than rising to the back to me … Loved the interior openness. As for the wheels, I think they would best be placed on an X ;)
___Paul123, as usual, thanks for the pics.

Hey zafer!,
I resemble that remark! :D BTW, it's TREKERS... And no, I'm not a fan of this van. I don't hate it, however, it seems uncomfortable, and not me, and I'm a treker!:D |

| Im curious if this is a prototype or just a concept vehicle. If its the later and they do go into production, Im sure it will have a more finished if not, normalized interior. . |

| I have the same question. I remember seeing a Mazda MPV van prototype with Aeron chairs that looked really funky, but they never materialized in a production version. |

I like it. It looks way better than any other mini-van out there. We will have to see if those seats are more comfortable than they look though. Tail pipe intergrated into the bumper looks great! Interior looks way more futuristic than next years model? I have owned 1 mini van and I'm not sure I could own another, but this one looks cool! Thanks for the PICS. |

| Are they actually cranking these out in production with suicide doors??? |

Hi All:
___Yes indeed, it’s out. Not quite as futuristic as the prototype but still quite advanced … At least they kept the Sky view roof idea. I still dislike the looks however ...

| Me likes! Kudos to nissan for the guts to innovate and not be afraid. Seems like Volkswagen and Nissan are mounting some serious comebacks with greatly innovative products. Watch out Toyota and Honda! |

| BTW how can a minivan which doesn't claim to be a luxury vehicle and costs far less have soooo many more options than a so called luxury MDX? |

| I saw that van about two weeks ago in a Nissan dealership. Top of the line model and loaded with RES and NAV. At first it does look good, very good but when I stepped inside the car, it totally changed my mind. The speedo and tacho are on the center like the echo. STUPID!!!!!!!!! totally stupid!!!!!! Dude, that's a minivan not a car to play around with like a Mini Cooper!!!! And the dumbest thing is that they replaced that part with a ugly and useless cubby :1pat:. Oh, the most important thing, leather. The leather on the show car is like sh**. I was wondering if those were real leather or real tiger skin!!!!! When I hopped on to the second row seat, the stupid cup holder on the side almost broke my knee!!! It's not retractable!!!! The sunroof is pretty cool but don't you think it's a bit too much??? A piece of glass above every seat (including 3rd row) in the van and the cover is only a piece of cloth!!!!! The center console looks crappy too. Nissan tries to follow Toyota and make the gear shift on the console, they did it and it looks more like a truck (or a bus). That's about it on the Quest. |

Oh yeah and it cost more than $50,000 for a loaded one in Canada. |
