Our several month old MDX lost all power steering less than 1 month after repair due to the recall notice (we required repair).

The "steering" pulley snapped exactly like the one in the picture at

Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Yes, I was a victim. Same as you about one month after the recall was done. Fortunately I was sitting still at a light and not moving. The dealership was less than a half mile away so I was able to drive it there but it wasn't easy. They gave me a loaner (3.2 TL, which I had a ball in by the way) and had to order the part. It was fixed in about 3 days. Sorry to hear about it for you. Hope all works out well.
