I wonder if the MDX will get the reputation of being a getaway vehicle and become more popular with thieves and robbers?
I ask that because all the magazine ads and recent TV commercials always show it driving away into the boonies.
Not necessarily like the GM or Jeep ads where the vehicles are performing some athlectic feat over mountain tops and deep ravines, but just running down some dirt trail in a cloud of dust ! |

We better keep an eye on the accessory topics! |

| well written xcel, an accessory like that would be totally unessary. I mean why expose our pieces when the rear headrest compartment works just fine. |

Install a lock on the compartment and you are all set! If that's your thing. |

Actually DaleB,
It's not my thing I was just joking. Thanks for the quote xcel, because even though it's not my thing it can be anyone else's and that's what makes this country so freakin' great.
All the best to you and yours now it's almost 1 in the morning which means it's time to go out and party! |

Acura has been "heavily" advertising during NFL games (I like to watch the Texans lose:rolleyes: ).
As long time members of this .org know my favorite acronym for SUV is Street Utility Vehicle:1: As we all know the overwhelming majority of all SUVs, particularly those like the MDX, never go off-roading. Yet the radical environmentalist want to lump all SUVs together and condemn the driver/owners for hating mankind and polluting the planet:eek:
Commercials like Acura is running is NOT a realistic portrayal of reality and contributes to the Poser accusations of the anti-SUV crowd.
I guess since I am a TL-S owner I am supposed to drive for 24 hours chasing a flock of geese:rolleyes: |

I saw my first TV commercial for a 2003 MDX last night.
The commercial was half over, before I realized it was for a MDX.
At the end, you see it from a distance, and Acura mentions the 260 hp.
It was a SS on the commercial, no extras shown. |

| I saw the latest MDX commercial and it was basically a nice touchy-feely type thing all on paved roads. |

Looks like SS is the "Best" color of X that has been used for MDX TV commercial. :4: |

| I got the Silver MDX too. If you want a light colored (it shows the dirt less) car, choices are limited. I do not like white, so that leave only the hav blue or starlight silver. Hav blue is a little too pastel a shade for me. That left only silver. More color selection is needed. |

| I like the Acura commercial where the guy and his wife drive up the snake-like mountain road to see a house for sale. She wants the house, he looks back down at the twisty road and says, "we'll take it." |
