"... a cargo ship carrying nearly 3,000 luxury cars collided with another ship and sank in the English Channel.
"The £30m worth of vehicles on board the Norwegian-registered Tricolor included 2,862 cars made by BMW, Volvo and Saab."
Apparently there were 250 XC90's on board.

That'd be a heck of a dealer excuse to a buyer, and, on this system, we've thought we've heard all of the lame excuses for why my MDX hasn't arrived yet. |

Would not want to be the underwriter for that claim! |

Maybe they'll salvage the cargo. And in a few months, your local Volvo dealer will offer an XC90.
For Sale:
$500 off MSRP!
Slight moisture damage. |

...anybody see the show on the Bismark?
Seemed like kind of extended infomercial for the DVD, but kinda neat anyhow. |

I got mine last Friday so not any excuse for a "ship sank delay" :-) I reserved it since last August.
It is a '03 Sandstone metallic outside with saddle leather inside. All I can say after 3 day driving is AMAZING. It is so SMOOTH and quite. The suspension and handiness are WOW.
Frankly and honestly, it is the BEST SUV out there. It looks also great with the running boards and tailgate deflector. I was wrong when I first thought that the XC90 looks better !
I am quite surprised about some comments saying that the MDX inside materiaux quality is not quite good and the seats are not comfortable. Well, each time I sit in this baby, I feel like I take the first class seat in a Boeing 747 ! Being a test driver of X5, ML320, XC90 and RX300, IMHO, the RX300 is the only one that could offer the same comfort than the MDX.
In Canada, even after 3 years, it still takes 3 months to order a MDX while it would only take several days to get an X5, ML320 (ML500) or a RX300. And I understand now WHY :-) |

I agree about the comfort of the seats and like you was surprised at complaints posted to the contrary.
Did a poll a month or so ago and found most owners are happy with the seat comfort.
