Anyone with 'Shop Manual' please let me know the torque value of the transmission drain plug and also fill plug. Thank you in advance.

These are from Acura's Book:
Drain plug 36 lb/ft
fill plug 33 lb/ft

When you remove these plugs, you will realize that with a crush washer, the removal torque is much higher than the installation torque. I personally would set the torque at 25 for the drain plug and just 22 for the fill plug (top plug doesn't restrain any fluid pressure, just to keep dirt and water out, only need enough torque to slightly crush the washer).
Make sure you get the proper non-reusable crush washers. Parts guy gave me the wrong sizes, twice. If your dealer doesn't have them check out a Honda dealer - its the same.
drain plug washer - 18mm
fill plug washer - 24mm (mucho grande) |
