At this point I am looking at buying 3 factory racks from HAW. My wife prefers the kind that anchors at the fork and the factory rack clamps the wheels and with a brace on the frame. I looked at the Thule site and they sell both. They do have a fork clamped rack they say fits the MDX but then they state that the wheel carrier won't fit the MDX. I am not putting the wheels inside.
Anybody else have experience with the Thule racks on their MDX? Have you tried more than two bikes at a time. One back and two forward I would guess.
BTW the Thule site has got to be one of the worst for usability. You have to click through 4 screens to see if the rack fits your car and those fours screens to back out to the next rack. |

I believe dancall (and others) posted some info on this. The VWADAPT kit for the bolts to mount the bike carrier, then a sqare nut in the MDX channel and a bolt down from the fork carrier into it.
