My rear wiper - which doesn't get much exercise here in Southern California - has quit working. I checked the fuse; it's good. The "squirter" is functioning, but the blade won't move.
Anyone else had a similar failure? And, if so, was a quick dealer fix? I'd really love to get this resolved without having to lose my car for a day in the service department. |

Both the washer and the wiper are run from the same fuse, so that's out of the picture. There are nine plug-in connections in both the ground and hot lines on both sides of the motor; if any one of them is open, it won't run. And there are seven more in the "park" circuit.
Sorry I can't help more. |

Thanks, frostyra, for your answer. Sounds like my X is going to spend a day in the shop. Oh well, maybe I'll get a free car wash for my troubles.
Merry Christmas! |

| When i took my '01 MDX in for routine work, they replaced the nut or washer on the rear wiper "due to a bulletin" on it related to it coming loose. Hope it helps. |

I've been hearing noise for a couple months when I use my rear wiper. It is helpful to know there is a "fix" that may resolve it. Thanks!
