| I have a 2002 MDX and I get a clicking/tapping noise that appears to be from the driver's side front wheel area when I go over bumps at low speed. I have read in this forum about a fix that involves grinding down some shock welds or something?? Is this a common problem and is this weld grinding a documented fix? If anyone has any insight into this please share your thoughts. This noise is driving me crazy. I would like to take the MDX to the dealer but I think I will just get the standard "we don't hear anything" response unless I have some documentation to back me up. Thanks in advance. |

volmax,
Mine's a clicking/ticking noise, but from the same area. Sounds lighter and closer to the dash than something from the front suspension. Almost sounds like it's coming from the front left air vent. It's there over 10 MPH and it's independent of the ventilation system being on/off, or at low fan speed (as reported by someone else).
Help would be appreciated.

| Here is an older thread. I had the same problem and you can see the part list they did on mine. Mine seemed to be temp. related and since the fix i have not heard the noise, but then again it has not been in the 80's here for a while. http://www.acuramdx.org/forums/show...=&threadid=6627 |
