I have long drooled over the MDX. My wife’s car finally died on us and I now can get a new MDX. I would appreciate any help in the purchase. We are looking at the standard model. What deals or negotiating can be done. Can you give me some examples of 2003 sales pricing. We are in the Chicago Suburb area.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but there really is not much negotiating going on! Most folks are paying MSRP!

Don't pay for any forced oprtions, since they are a lot cheaper on the outside.

However, whichever options the dealer installs are warrantied. Some options like the tow package (if you so desire) are better installed by the dealer unless you have a lot of time and mechanical know how.

Try to get the best deal, but dealers are not dealing much.

Great luck to you!:1:

Deals available will depend on some research and how flexible on color and whether premium, touring, nav/non-nav, etc. If there is a specific color and setup you want, you may have to order it, wait a few months for it to come in, and it may be difficult to do much better than MSRP (maybe a few options added). If more flexible (or lucky), call around to the area dealers and you may be able to work a better deal on one they already have and are trying to sell (several folks seem to have been able to do this). Not sure how well that will work in Chicagoland, I think the demand here is high...

For my $0.02, I worked with Greg Pew at Continental Acura in Lisle and was very happy with my experience there...took care of ordering the exact 'X I wanted and keeping me up to date on when it would be available...very nice dealership. :)

Good luck! You will enjoy whatever you end up getting!! :4:

"finally" .. is that by natural causes? :D or a greater force wanting a MDX had something to do with it? :2:
