Anyone looking to sell their 01 yet? Anyone want out of their lease a few months early? I'm looking for an '01 touring or non touring with or without nav, about any color but black but would prefer beige or redrock. Also looking for less than 35k miles, and the fewer accessories, the better. All I need is the cargo cover, separation net, and cargo liner. I would rather not have any interior wood extras or side steps/running boards.

I'm in the Norfolk/Va Beach Virginia area, but am willing to travel a reasonable distance to look and or buy. One of the dealerships here has a 01 green base with about 22k miles on it for under $30k for comparison. I'm looking for an 01 to save a few $$'s, plus it's headed overseas in 18 months, so I don't need warranty time I can't use or a pristine new car in Europe.

Thanks,
Ken F

Since I'm going to be in Florida and southern Spain for a few years, I am looking for a lighter exterior and interior color. Thanks for the head's up! I've seen a few that look interesting in various classifieds, but I'm probably going to wait a few months more and see what happens when the 36 month leases start ending. I would really like to pay less than $30k, and the prices haven't dropped that far yet.

What's with Spain? Nothing beside Real Madrid and all it's star players like Ronaldo, Zidane, Davids, and a few other Brazilians. Anyway, good luck on finding an X that suits your needs.

I'm in the Navy, so it keeps me moving every few years. We will only be in Norfolk about two years, then down to Florida for a year, and over to spain for 2-2 1/2 years. The rules there are that you can only ship over and register ONE  US spec car. If you get a second vehicle, you have to pay Spanish taxes on it- $$$, plus I have to pay to have it shipped. That's why we were considering an MDX for that one vehicle. The only drawbacks are that it is a little too big for some of the roads in the older towns, and I probably won't be able to keep up with the traffic on the highway doing 100+ mph. Last time we were there we had a Saab turbo hatchback, which was great because it was a sports car with tons of luggage room.

Well, being in the Navy, I salute you, we need good folks serving in the Armed Forces. Good luck to you. Even though overseas, don't forget you represent us all. If you can stay on the web over there, stay in touch and send some pics of your X down in Gibraltar, up in Madrid, then up in Pyrenees, and over on the coast in Bilbao. Last time I was in Spain was during a high school football (soccer to you) tour of western Europe, a very long time ago. Have a wonderful time.
