Yesterday when I started up my X, the NAV display wasn't on. I pressed the menu, cancel, trip buttons and still no luck.
I turned the X off and restarted it, then the display was working. I turned the X on and off several times to see if I could duplicate the problem and it worked properly each time.
Has anyone had this happen to them?
I'm due for my 15K inspection soon and will bring it to the dealers attention unless it happens again before the inspection.
I was starting to get pissed off, no NAV that would suck.   |

| papa: that same scenario happened to me. It has never happened again. I don't think it is a problem. Probably just caught the computer off guard. BTW when it happened to me I never shut off the engine right away and drove for a half hour. I have to say it was a dull drive. |

| This happened to me also, but it affected the RES. I was driving to Reno and decided to turn on the DVD for my passengers and the screen was not functioning. We stopped off at the next stop and I turned off the X for a couple of seconds then restarted. I heard the DVD player reset itself and everything has been fine since. I have not had any duplication of this problem. I think that the X sometimes has too many commands to go through before startup. Good thing that I bought the extended warranty. Lot's of computer things that could go wrong...:14: :25: |
