Wanted to see what the rest of you may drive in the summer
months desides the MDX.
I'll start..........
My summer escape is a 1966 Mustang Convertible that I restored
in 1995. Its Tahoe Turquoise with a turquiose and white 'pony'
interior. It has a 289 V8, PS, PB, Power top, console, automatic,
rally-pac, steel style wheels, and a host of other factory options.
Its a great ride and always turns heads. It kills me to be at a filling station and have a guy walk over from his $50K car and just
want to trade on the spot.
There is something about an old mustang........
What's your 'fun' ride ?

Prior to September it was a 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo (car was totaled in Sept., when a flat tire peeled off the rim at highway speed). Now my summer ride is my old standby---> 1955 Chevy
2-door post w/ a 283 & Muncie M22 4-speed. |

Is it Black like the one Harrison Ford drove in American Graffiti ?
283 was a widely use engine by GM for the Vette, trucks, sedans,
and others. It's a great engine.
327 as you know took over the reign as the leading small block
for many many years.

used to have a 94 integra but sold it for the MDX, so now the MDX is my all-year ride. :D
funny thing with the integra: we sold it to my wife's cousin who came to the house to pick it up the day my dealership delivered the MDX, he drove the integra away on one end of our street and 5 minutes later the flatbed truck driver with my MDX showed up on the other end of the street. :2: the wife and i had quite a chuckle out of that.

Magma Red 2001 MB SLK320 roadster (retracting hardtop convertible). Mid-life crisis I guess. :31: My first car was a 1965 GTO convertible and although I've had numerous cars since then, no convertibles. Gotta love 'em as a second car.

A 2001 MDX with really tinted windows and a great airconditioner on full blast. Look where I live.
I drive from my garage in my air conditioned home, to a covered downtown garage, to my airconditioned office and back again from June until October.
Ok, my X is black but I love this car. |

1999 Ford F350, 7.3 liter turbo diesel Crewcab, dually. 3 horse, Sundowner horse trailer in close pursuit. Not as cool as the M3 BMW but I think the Beamer would look pretty funny pulling the horses! :4: :29:

My summer ride is on the water.
It's a 97 Sea Doo Challenger 1800 (18') jet boat. 220 hp of wet and wild fun. Of course, I enjoy the ride to the lake in my X, but after a Buffalo winter, a day of sun & water is all I want.

a little skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, or just sitting in the sun is what we need after a long cold winter. |

During my college years about years ago I had a '68 GTO
convertible. Great car ! 400 ci 4-barrel, with his & hers
hurst automatic shifter.

| I guess my signature line says it all....I don't think I fit the typical profile of MDX owners, no BMW's, MB's, etc. certainly nothing worthy of posting photos of in my stable. I have however enjoyed seeing all of your rides, keep the photos comming. |

2000 Corvette Navy Blue Metallic Convertible with a 6-speed.
The vette is special as it has every option except BSM's (then I go and order BSM's for the X:D )
Navy Blue Metallic was made for a short period, so I have one of 892 blue verts in 2000.
The only way to travel in the summer!
