Looking to sell my 2002 silver MDX with 20k miles. No dings or scratches and garage kept. It has a full size spare, towing package, and real HIDs. I have had the 7500 and 15000 miles service performed at the dealer and oil changes every 3000 miles. Its in mint shape. I am looking to buy a house and would like to get some extra cash for a down payment. PM with offers or questions!

The fact that you may not have had responses doesn't mean there is no market for your MDX. There are a zillion members on this board, but only a handful of offers to sell or buy. I'm not even sure if anyone has been successful at actually marketing their used MDX solely on this board. This is the reason why I also gave up after a couple of weeks about a year ago.

I may be selling mine also in a month or two, but will be using the method that has worked for me during the last two car sales:
I'll seek out a luxury-only used auto place and checkout their consignment fee structure. So far, seems like a $150-200/mo. lot fee if I pull the car before it is sold, or else $250-350 flat fee when it gets sold, regardless of length of time on lot (of course, if the dealer gets tired of it, they can release me from the contract for a single month's fee and have me take back the car). This way, I don't have to answer phone calls, e-mails, schedule to take weirdos on test drives who look like they will dump my body out of my own car in some alley, and is a compromise from taking a $4 to 6,000 hit for the dealer's trade-in profit. Also, this allows a purchaser to obtain financing right on the spot from the consignment dealer rather than asking me to wait for a loan approval, taking my car for an appraisal at some bank or credit union, and then dealing with a smog certificate that expires in 90 days. If something goes wrong with the car after the sale, I don't have some psycho phoning me during the middle of the night to threaten my family. I wait patiently, adjust the price monthly, and go pick up a dealer check after the phone call. I like it this way. It helps to have a secondary car to drive during this time, cuz it could be 2 or 3 months. I think $5,000 is worth waiting a couple months for.
