Hahahaha ... I crack myself up sometimes. :2: I think I'm going to Walmart for more of these models and a hobby store for better tools/paint, etc. Thanks to gordonweb for the original idea, had a blast painting this thing for the past couple days.
Hope you enjoy the pictures! :2:

henry_atwork,
Very nice! Hey, I want one of these MDX's. I went to the only Walmart here in Honolulu, Hawaii and couldn't find one. Help!:( |

| I like the chrome side steps . . . now if you can only change the stock wheels to "custome chrome" wheels that would we phat !! Did you actually tint the windows or is that paint? |
|
|
| henry_atwork |
the "window tint" is actually just paint :D the interior is too small to actually do anything detailed in there. i would love to find a bigger model.
EXCALIBUR, these models are also available on eBay as well. might be an option for you if you can't find them locally.

HenryatWork,
I got one off of Ebay. I don't think it is exactly the same as your model though. My doors open and the model can be pulled back so it zips forward. No sidesteps or deflector either. Your model also appears to be slightly larger then mine. |

| 2002 Acura MDX! |
| That is the best looking MDX model I seen so far. But where did you get the rear deflector and the side steps?? |

henry_atwork,
Success! I got the last MDX at K B Toys. It didn't come cheap. I had to pay $1.00 over MSRP. It cost me $2.99 + tax. Now, what are the secrets to doing a good paint job and where do you get the accessories (side steps and tailgate deflector)? :) |

henry_atwork,
Yours looks really well, and mine (Taffeta White one) looks like a Honda version! ;-)
Excellent job!
Now I'm going to order some mini-accessories from Tim. |

manus1980,
this model does pull back and zips forward as well, and the front doors open too.
for others that asked about accessories from mini-Tim :D - the side steps are actually painted toothpicks! and the rear deflector is just a simple paper fold! hot glue is your friend. :) i'm still trying to locate some paintable clay for the deflector for my next one. :2:

Hmmmmm! Looks like you're handy with this sort of thing.
Do these cars come apart so you can do a spray paint of the bodywork and the interior separately? |

Anyway, we are excited, and I was browsing trying to find a good picture of a midnight blue MDX...w/options (flares), side step...love the model!
Thanks.
