This RX 330 is supposed to be about 10% cheaper than the X and from the pictures it looks really damn good. Lexus is making me think twice about getting an X. Damn them. Just when I had my mind made up!!!!
Save 5 g's and not have to deal with arrogant acura dealers and long wait times. Sounds good to me. Would like to know your thoughts on the RX.
Thanks! |

I would see what they are going to consider "options" before making a decision. A comparably equipped '03 RX is more expensive than the MDX by several thousand dollars. One of the things I really liked about the MDX was the fact that so much was standard. I also think that is one of the reasons the MDX holds its value so well. Many of the options I had on my RX did not add to the blue book value when trading it in.
I don't know about the new ones, but the following were options on my '99 RX that the MDX Touring has standard:
4 wheel drive
Sunroof
Traction control
Heated seats
Leather seats
Memory seats
Auto dimming rear view mirror
Homelink garage door opener
Interior air filter
Premium audio
Floor mats

Thank you everyone.
I just expected Lexus to make a comparably equipped RX 330 less expensive than the X.
I mean isn't Lexus' goal to stop acura from taking market share?
Pretty weak competition if the 330 is more expensive. |

Lexus has to pay for all that advertising that they have been flooding the market with; TV, magazine, and newspaper ads everywhere. The money for that big ad budget just has to be in the price of Lexus vehicles. |

:2: The new RX-330 is getting my attention as well. I can't wait until I see it with my own eyes. For now the X will be placed on the back burner, let alone I'm not to keen on working with the Acura salesfolks.
